Grade® For Kids
Part of Your Healthy Workday
We've been in motion since January 2015, garnering positive feedback from trusted industry experts across a variety of work environments. The results have been confirmed via third-party testing conducted by Mayo Clinic, University of Idaho, and the Heeluxe Lab in California. FluidStance decks are designed to keep you moving throughout your day, instead of being sedentary. Using our boards helps you burn calories and increase your heart rate, all while keeping you happier, more productive, and more comfortable while you work.
FAQ's
-
Do I need a standing desk to use a deck?
Our purpose at FluidStance® is to help set the world in motion. Using a deck at a standing desk is a great way to introduce more movement into your workspace, but you can take advantage of FluidStance benefits in any environment. Stand on one while taking a conference call, or while gaming or watching TV

How do the various models of FluidStance decks differ?
All of our decks are designed to add the same subtle motion to your day. While the functional geometry remains consistent between models, the range in pricing options is a result of variations between materials and manufacturing processes.
The Original ($489) has a bamboo top deck and a base of .250" thick, military-grade aluminum that is sand-cast by hand in a selection of five colors. We've tested the Original to hold up to 300 lbs.
The Level® ($289-$389), has three top-deck options: maple, maple with a walnut finish, or bamboo. All possess the same .190" die-cast aluminum base. We've tested the Level to hold up to 250 lbs.
A variation on the Level, the Level Cloud ($339) consists of the Level base topped with our recycled wood material (ReWood) and accompanied by our UPmat at a special price.
The Plane line starts with a base made from recycled #2 plastic. On the Plane Cloud ($239), the top deck consists of soft anti-microbial foam for added cushion. The Plane ($189) has a top deck made of recycled rubber tires. We've tested the Plane decks to hold up to 200 lbs.

Does my floor surface matter?
Because they're designed for 360-degree movement, FluidStance decks work best on firm flooring. If you have thicker carpet, or want to protect your deck and/or flooring (in cases of cement or hardwood floors), we recommend either of our Base Mats.
