I like it with shoes and without but that is 100% a need for me if I ended up getting this. It gives more support for your knees and allows you to not wear shoes and still be stable and comfortable.

The got the lake because I wanted a blue color, glad I did. It looks to be a darker blue in person.
I have to say that i did not buy that when i got my board because after reading some of the reviews it didn't seem like a good purchase. Fluidstance reach out to me on my board purchase and ask how i felt about it. I said i love it i just wished they would get a memory foam like pad that i could use as i stand on it all day (9 to 10 hours a day). They came back and asked me why i did not buy the UPmat, i said the reviews where bad and i didn't feel like spending that kind of money on something that got those types of reviews. After a few emails I said I would try it and wow what a game changer and those negative review where wrong this is a great product and a must have if you use the board!! I might need to buy one for the wife soon as she keeps coming down to my office to steal it.
Ok, so the anti fatigue matt should be on all your boards. No board should be sold with a hard top—super uncomfortable. That's my only critique. I love the Plane Cloud board which is what I ordered for my personal use, but I think you guys changed the name to Plane Board with Graphite top? Your boards have the best curve on the bottom. A coworker has an amazon board that is shaped so awkward and is not fun to stand on. You guys truly make the best product and I love it. But gosh dangit, please make all board anti fatique....

I stand at my desk for at least half of my day and the anti-fatigue mat makes it so much more comfortable on my joints.
Wish it had more texture, and was a bit thicker. Works well overall
The UPMat is a vast improvement to my Level balance board. The wooden top is just hard on the feet. So a couple of suggestions, put some bumpy nubs on the top of the UPMat, it's surface is too regular.
Definitely necessary if using your board barefoot. Glad I added this to my purchase.
Easy to adhere to the balance board.
It adds a layer of spring and comfort, but it also protects the surface of my board!
I really like the bad for my board. It's thin enough that I don't feel like I am "lifted up" but also thick enough to provide grip and cushioning. I may get a second one.
A must with the Level - it adds that extra cushion that reduces the leg strain. Yes it covers that beautiful wood - but let's face it, we are standing on it for a reason. And, you can store it backwards and still see that beautiful wood.
Loved the product. Have already recommended it to a number of friends who find standing strenuous. This gives them the chance to take some strain off their feet. Quality is awesome.

FluidStance is the only reason I am actually looking forward to go back to work.
Since I got my FluidStance I’ve been standing at my desk a lot more. Most days I only sit when I am in a meeting with others. I recently hurt my foot and was sitting for a couple of days and felt lethargic and lazy. Thanks to my UPmat, I’m back to standing and feel much better overall.
The Upmat itself is great and a good supplement to the Level. However, the adhesives provided do no work great. The Upmat continually comes off and does not stick to the Level as intended. As of right now, the stickiness of the adhesives are gone. Hopefully there will be further improvements on this.
The mat works fine, cushions my feet throughout the day but for the price I was expecting it to be one of those gel mats. Instead it turned out to be a regular piece foam I could have cut out of a square mat you can get a pack of from the store for much less. Still, it works and I got to support a company I like.
It works as advertised. Stays put on the board with little movement, even without the 2-sided tape.
